Bill Mitford is a recurring character in the fourth and fifth seasons. He is played by guest star Brian Elerding. He is a copy writer. He worked for Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce before they were forced to make cutbacks after losing the Lucky Strike account. He returns to work as a freelance writer when they are preparing a pitch for Jaguar.^[1]
