Biography
Kurt is a German designer brought on board at Sterling Cooper with his creative partner Smitty Smith in an effort to hire a team with visibility into youth culture. Kurt appears to be a Beat and is also gay. ("The Jet Set")
He was not brought along to Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce when Sterling Cooper was sold to McCann Erickson. ("Shut the Door. Have a Seat") It is implied that Kurt now works for Cutler, Gleason, and Chaough along with Smitty, presumably still in creative. ("The Chrysanthemum and the Sword")
