Biography[]
Smitty Smith is a copywriter for the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency.
He was hired along with Kurt Smith to try and bring better focus to the younger market. ("For Those Who Think Young")
In "The Grown-Ups", Herman Phillips called them "a bunch of homos".
He was not brought along to Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce when Sterling Cooper was sold to McCann Erickson. ("Shut the Door. Have a Seat")
Smitty later worked for Cutler, Gleason, and Chaough, presumably still as a copy writer. It is implied that Kurt has also joined that firm when Smitty was hired. ("The Chrysanthemum and the Sword")
